# 17 Kranji Farmers’ Market x Singapore Farmers Festival 30 – 31 May 2015

We were really happy that we managed to create a new menu item for the Farmer x Vendor collaboration segment.

Using Quan Fa Organic’s Butternut, we coated it in batter, double fried it. Crispy and smooth like butter(butternut is less fibrous than pumpkin). We quickly came up homemade sauce – Salted Egg Yolk Mayo to pair with the Butternut Fries.  This inspiration came from something we had at a chinese food restaurant, 咸蛋炒金瓜.
